ေတာင္ေပၚ၊ ေျမျပန္႔ႏွင့္ ျမစ္၀ကၽြန္းေပၚေဒသဟူ၍ ေရေျမသဘာ၀ကြဲျပားသည့္ ေဒသမ်ားေပါင္းစုထားသည္ ႏွင့္ အညီ ထုိေဒသမ်ိဳးစံုတြင္ ေနထိုင္ေသာ တိုင္းရင္းသားလူမ်ိဳးတို႔၏ လူေနမႈပံုစံေပၚလိုက္၍ ၄င္းတို႔၏ ရိုးရာလက္မႈ လုပ္ကိုင္မႈအေလ့အထမ်ားလည္း ကြဲျပားၾကသည္။ ထို႔ေၾကာင့္ ျမန္မာႏိုင္ငံသည္ လက္မႈႏွင့္ပတ္သက္သည့္ အစဥ္အလာ ႀကီးမားထြန္းကားသည့္ ႏိုင္ငံတစ္ခုဟု ဆိုႏိုင္ေပသည္။
ေရွးျမန္မာတုိ႔၏ လူေနမႈပံုစံတြင္ လက္မႈ၏ အခန္းက႑သည္ လြန္စြာအေရးပါခဲ့သည္။ အိမ္တြင္းသံုးပစၥည္းမ်ား၊ လယ္ယာသံုးပစၥည္းမ်ား၊ အ၀တ္အထည္မ်ား၊ အဆင္တန္ဆာမ်ား၊ အိမ္တြင္းအလွဆင္ပစၥည္းမ်ားမွ အစျပဳ၍ နန္းတြင္းသံုး အဖိုးတန္ပစၥည္းမ်ားအထိ လက္မႈအႏုပညာ၏ အခန္းက႑တြင္က်ယ္ခဲ့သည္။ ျမန္မာ့လက္မႈတြင္ ပန္းဆယ္မ်ိဳးဟုထင္ရွားသည့္အျပင္ အျခားေသာအေရးပါသည့္ လက္မႈလုပ္ငန္းမ်ားစြာထြန္းကားခဲ့ဖူးသည္။
တိုင္းရင္းသားလူမ်ိဳးေပါင္းစံု စုေပါင္းေနထိုင္သည့္ ႏိုင္ငံျဖစ္သည့္အတြက္လည္း လူမ်ိဳးစုတစ္ခုခ်င္းစီ၏ ယဥ္ေက်းမႈကို ေဖာ္ေဆာင္ေသာလက္မႈပစၥည္းမ်ားစြာရွိသည္။ အသံုးျပဳထားသည့္ပစၥည္း၊ လက္ရာႏွင့္ အဆင္တန္ဆာမ်ားကို ၾကည့္ျခင္းအားျဖင့္ သက္ဆိုင္ရာ တုိင္းရင္းသားလူမ်ိဳးတုိ႔၏ ေရေျမအေနအထား၊ ေန႔စဥ္ဘ၀ ႏွင့္ ယဥ္ေက်းမႈအဆင့္အတန္းတို႔ကို ေတြ႕ျမင္ႏိုင္သည္။ ထို႔ေၾကာင့္ ျမန္မာ့ရိုးရာလက္မႈမ်ားသည္ ျမန္မာႏိုင္ငံ၏ ေရေျမသဘာ၀၊ ယဥ္ေက်းမႈအဆင့္အတန္းႏွင့္ လူေနမႈပံုစံတုိ႔ကို ထင္ဟပ္ကိုယ္စားျပဳသည့္ အဖိုးတန္အရာမ်ားျဖစ္သည္။

Natures of hand crafted works are diverse in the way of the culture of tribes those living in different parts of Myanmar. By its colorful several different tribes, Myanmar is recognized as a rich country in its hand crafts culture.
Hand crafts took the important role of early living style of ancient Myanmar. Every single thing of family stuffs were made by hands, house whole, farming, clothing, decoration stuffs up to royal family accessories.
Crafts were not just only for using wares, they were also the cultural identity of each tribe in Myanmar. Beyond the materials, form and accessories of a craft, we can guess the landscaping of their native, daily life and the cultural standard of those ethnic people of Myanmar. That’s why traditional crafts are deserved to be recognized as the symbolism of a country.
